About Us

I’m Amanda Dodson, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with nearly two decades of experience supporting individuals and families through serious illness, caregiving, and end-of-life transitions.

You may be facing a diagnosis, caring for someone you love, or navigating complex medical decisions. These experiences can feel overwhelming, uncertain, and difficult to manage on your own. My role is to offer a steady, compassionate space where you can talk through what’s happening, gain clarity, and feel more supported as you move forward.

My work has taken place in hospital rooms, oncology clinics, and in people’s homes. At Denver Health, I worked in emergency and inpatient medicine, leading family meetings and helping patients, families, and providers find clarity in moments of crisis. As a hospice social worker, I supported individuals and caregivers through end-of-life experiences and helped expand access to home-based palliative care. At the University of Colorado Hospital, I provided counseling in the outpatient oncology clinic, walking alongside patients and their loved ones through treatment and the uncertainty that often follows.

I bring honesty, warmth, and calm to each session, and I honor your unique values, emotions, and goals. Together, we can focus on what matters most to you, so you can move through this with greater clarity and support.

I’m Cierra McNamara, a palliative care social worker whose path to this work has been shaped by over 20 years of supporting individuals and families through illness, loss, and end-of-life experiences.

You may be navigating a diagnosis, caring for someone you love, or trying to make sense of a loss. These experiences can feel overwhelming and hard to put into words. I offer a steady, compassionate presence where you can talk openly, sort through what you’re carrying, and feel less alone in it.

Before becoming a social worker, my work included roles as an oncology massage therapist, death doula, hospice volunteer, mindfulness meditation instructor, and author coach. Across these experiences, I’ve seen how meaningful it is to have space for what often goes unspoken.

Today, my work is grounded in the belief that conversations about quality of life matter at every stage, and that the losses we carry deserve care and attention. Together, we can take time to understand what you’re going through and find a way forward that feels more grounded and connected.
